Key Responsibilities:
Assisting patients with washing, dressing, toileting, and other hygiene-related tasks.

Assisting patients with meals and ensuring they have access to adequate fluids.
Providing companionship, reassurance, and a listening ear to patients.
- Maintaining a Safe Environment:
Keeping the ward or patient's living space tidy, ensuring equipment is clean, and reporting any safety concerns.
Adhering to specific care plans and instructions provided by nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Communicating effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team.
Assisting with basic clinical tasks, such as dressing wounds or taking blood samples, under the supervision of qualified staff (this can vary by setting and experience).
Accurately maintaining patient records and documentation.
